Awoke

Today I awoke.

I awoke from a dormant sleep.

I am unsure how long I have been sleeping.

I am also unsure why I went to sleep in the first place.

The flood gates are now unleashed, breaking through the dam that has been corroding my mind, my thoughts, my voice, my life.

I wonder how long I will be awake for this time.
